7 September 2018 – The 2018/19 SAB League season in the SAFA Ekurhuleni region is in full swing with some mouth-watering fixtures taking place this weekend. Starting this evening, 7 September, Kempton Park will be hoping to do better than their opening game which resulted in a tough 1-1 draw against Katlehong Zone 3 FC. They welcome a highly confident Highlands Park who registered a hard-fought 3-2 victory against a resilient Olympia FC last earlier this week.
Luso Africa take on Germiston City in what promises to be a cracking affair on Saturday, 8 September at 12h00 with Vosloo Arsenal locking horns with Zone 7 at 13h00. Their neighbours, Vosloo United are at home to current log leaders, Alberton FC who will be looking at continuing from where they left off last week after thrashing Zone 7 4-1.
Valentino FC are at home to Dream Team who are dreaming of a much improved performance following last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Kempton Park.
Katlehong Zone 3 and Jacoba FC will be looking for their first victories of the season following their 1-1 stalemate in their respective fixtures last week while Olympia FC will be looking at bouncing back from their loss against Highlands Park when they welcome FC Forever who kicked off their campaign with a 3-2 win over Valentino FC.
