17 August 2018 – Top South African match officials have been appointed to be in charge of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Congo and Zimbabwe.

Referee Victor Gomes, will be assisted by Zakhele Siwela and Johannes Moshidi as well as fourth official, Thando Ndzandzeka.

The Group G clash will be played on Sunday, 9 September 2018 at Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat in Congo Brazzaville.

This will be the second match in the group, led by Zimbabwe on goal difference, after they defeated Liberia 3-0 in Harare.

In second place lies RD Congo, who beat Congo Brazzaville 3-1 in Kinshasa, while Congo and Liberia are third and fourth respectively.
