17 August 2018 – In wrapping up Women’s Month, SAFA and Lesedi FM will collaborate to broadcast live from SAFA House on 31 August 2018.
The popular Sotho radio station will broadcast from Nasrec from 06h30 until 09h00 on that Friday to mark the end of Women’s Month celebrations.
There are other events lined up by SAFA as part of the commemoration of the month such as inviting top guests to give motivational speeches to SAFA female employees. But it is the Lesedi FM live show that will steal the show on the day.
The Radio Station said they had chosen SAFA to celebrate mostly the achievements of Banyana Banyana who have qualified for AFCON tournament in Ghana and the national women u17 team who are going to Uruguay to take part in the FIFA World Cup at the end of this year.
Among those lined up for the breakfast show are the likes of coaches Desiree Ellis and her junior counterpart, Simphiwe Dluldlu along with the respective players from Banyana Banyana and Bantwana.
SAFA Vice-President, Ria Ledwaba will headline the line up for the day.
