2 August 2018 – With the Limpopo Sasol League season now in the second round, the league table has already taken the shape many would have predicted in the beginning of the season.

The Limpopo ladies football powerhouses have already separated themselves from the rest of the pack and they look set to further the distance this weekend when the top three teams in the league table will be facing oppositions from bottom half of the table, they’re facing teams which they double their points tally.

Third-placed Morning Stars will welcome Tshandama Young Stars at Shayandima Ground for a Vhembe derby which Stars won 3-0 away from home in the first round.

Ma-Indies Ladies who are currently occupying second spot, will travel to Mphanama Ground on Saturday afternoon to face Mphanama Ladies who are ranked last on the league table after only one win in sixteen games.

Table-toppers First Touch Academy will be looking to maintain their perfect start to season with their seventeenth win out of as many games when they make a long trip to Mabalane to face Real Mighty Ladies.

The only prediction of the league table standings many would have got wrong is that the defending champions Kanatla Ladies will be at the bottom-half of the table by now. Currently lying tenth on the league table, they will be on the road this weekend to face fellow strugglers Re Tla Dira Ladies at Dipitsi Ground on Saturday.

The unpredictable fixture of the week to predict will take place at the holly ground of Moria when the hosts and fourth-place Moria Sweepers FC will be going toe-to-toe with eighth-placed with 23 points Mandebele Happy Fighters.

Sweepers are undefeated in their last four games and won their three recent fixtures whilst Mandebele has won three of their last five, drawing one and losing the other.
