13 July 2018 – Burger-King sponsored South Africa’s National U20 attacking midfielder, Promise Mkhuma, is confident that Amajita will come out with a positive result when they host Malawi in the 2019 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday, 15 July 2018 at Moruleng Stadium near Rustenburg (Kick-off 3pm).

Amajita have been in camp since last Friday (July 6) and Mkhuma, who scored the third goal in their 3-3 draw friendly match against Zambia leading up to this crucial first leg third leg qualifier, says they are ready.

“Our friendly match against Zambia prepared us both physically and mentally to do what is expected of us when we take on Malawi this Sunday,” said Mahuma.

“I believe that we are going to win this match going into the second leg. The training sessions we’ve had as well, have been really helpful in making sure that our fitness levels are always up there at all times.”

“Winning is what we need on Sunday,” added Mahuma. “We really want to qualify for the 2019 Afcon tournament. There is that small element of pressure to do well from our home supporters, however, we must never put our focus on that. Our goal is to win this encounter and go to Malawi and push for another win or draw. It can be done.”
