03 July 2018 – Limpopo Sasol Women’s League table toppers First Touch Academy is driven by manager Thabo Tlouane’s ‘relentless’ desire for success and gets even hungrier for more wins with each passing of a week, according to the club’s young striker, Moloko Choshi.
Former Molemole Academy manager Tlouane joined First Touch at the start of the current campaign and guided them to 13 wins out of as many games, scoring 51 goals and conceding only 8 in the process.
“We have a manager in Thabo, who is relentless. There is not going to be any contentment or relaxation here, that I can assure you,” Choshi told MySAFA.
“My expectation and the manager’s expectation, is that this team will continue to improve. I have no doubt we are going to come back stronger and more aggressive. We’ll continue to grow and improve”.
Choshi said the First Touch squad had been developed with future seasons in mind and that she believes that the coaches will give very careful consideration to any additions for fear of disrupting the team’s momentum..
“This is a young squad. Many of our most talented players are under the age of 26,” added the 17 years old striker.
“Whatever you’re going to add has to be a decision you don’t take very lightly at all. You have to bring in players that will strengthen, improve and add competition into the squad.”
The team is now hard at work in preparation for their next league encounter against Botlokwa Ladies who come into the clash at the back of a 2-0 victory over Kanatla Ladies.
