7 June 2018 – Bafana Bafana forward Lebohang Maboe says they were relieved after defeating Namibia 4-1 in the COSAFA Cup Plate semifinal on Tuesday night (5 June) at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
South Africa lost their opening match against of the tournament against Madagascar, and Maboe says they were hurting and had to redeem themselves against Namibia, albeit in the Plate semi-final.
They will now face Botswana on Friday, 8 June 2018 at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium at 15h00.
