1 June 2018 – Durban Ladies will be gunning for second sport on the Sasol Women’s League KwaZulu Natal log when they take on fourth placed Tottenham Ladies on Sunday.
For Tottenham, a win will see them leap-frog Durban Ladies, and occupy third spot.
As things stand, Durban Ladies are third on the log with 15 points from six matches, while Tottenham are close behind with 13 points from seven matches.
Barcelona, who are in danger of dropping to third should Durban Ladies win, are second on the log with 17 points from seven matches. Either way, Durban Ladies have a chance of going up to second, as they are the only team in the top five to have played one game less.
Lindelani Ladies, who are top of the log, are not bothered by any kind of movement below them as they are on 19 points.
The other fixture of the weekend, which will take place on Saturday, will see 13th placed Citizen Prayers take on 11th placed Umlazi Arsenal.
Citizen Prayers have only won just once this season from four matches, putting them under pressure to pick up some important three points.
Arsenal are in a similar situation, having won just twice in six matches this season.
