11 May 2018 – Mamello Ladies owner, Jack Radebe is optimistic that his team will pick up point this weekend as they resume their Sasol Women’s League campaign.

Saturday will see Mamello Ladies hosting bottom of the log A to Z Gunners FC with the home team’s owner, Jack Radebe, looking forward to proceedings. SAFA managed to catch up with the charismatic boss.

“It has been an up and down season thus far with two wins from five games, but so far so good. There is still plenty of time and we are looking to improve with each and every match”

Facing the 16th placed team, it will be logical to suggest that the home fans will be optimistic and expect big things from their team this Saturday and the club boss said that he would encourage his coach and squad to go all out for a victory.

“I will encourage my coach and players to go all out for the three points. We should get a big crowd coming in for a fantastic atmosphere. There are no easy games but things should be more relaxed this weekend compared to tougher outings in recent weeks. We have the talent and I am proud of all my players.”

With Radebe’s passion, enthusiasm and drive, their opponents will need to bring their ‘A-Game’ come Saturday.

The day’s other fixtures include a mid-table clash between Kovsies FC and Napoli FC as well as well as Kolisang Ladies taking on FC Nigol FC at Mexico Ground, with both teams are edging closer to the top four.

Log leaders and unbeaten Simunye Ladies will then travel to 14th placed Happy Ladies FC in what should prove to be a straight-forward encounter for the pace-setting club.

Vuyo Charles Stadium will then witness what should be a keen tactical battle between the unbeaten CUT Ladies and Tumahole Ladies FC, who will be looking to tighten up at the back.

Black Urban FC and Ayebush Ladies FC round up the fixture list on Mother’s Day with both teams languishing at the wrong end of the table and desperate for points.
