10 May 2018 – With the SAB U21 National Championships fast approaching, SAFA Tshwane will be hosting trials for the Gauteng squad that will represent the province at this year’s championships. Gauteng were crowned champions of the tournament after defeating defending champions USSA at the Nike Training Centre in Soweto last year.

The purpose of the selection is to identify players for the regional squad which will represent Tshwane in the Provincial trials that will be held later next month. The provincial team will then be selected to represent Gauteng in the National Championships.

The selectors will be highly experienced coaches who hold CAF B License badges and will be looking for exceptional talent that will represent the province.

Try outs will start at exactly 09h00 on Sunday, 13 May at the Caledonian Stadium in Pretoria.

Requirements for players:

  • Players must be registered with Tshwane LFAs or Tshwane SAB teams.
  • The players must have been born on 01 January 1997 or after.
  • Players will be required to produce original ID Book/card and player registration cards.
