16 April 2018 – Senegalese top striker and one of the most successful footballers to have come out of the African continent, El Hadji Diouf paid a visit to SAFA House as part of the Moroccan FIFA World Cup bid representatives. Diouf was accompanied by ex Cameroonian international goalkeeper, Joseph-Antoine Bell.
The delegation met SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan and his team to get insights on how the Association hosted one of the most successful FIFA World Cup tournaments.
SAFA.net took some time to speak to the former Liverpool striker to get his thoughts on the standard of football in South Africa.
