7 March 2018 – A squad of 20 players have been called up for camp in preparation for a Futsal four nations tournament set to take place in Mauritius between 15 and 18 March this year. South Africa will be up against Comoros, Reunion Islands and tournament hosts, Mauritious in the four-day tournament.
Besides the 14-member squad that will represent the country in Mauritius, two South African Futsal referees, Sashen Dorasamy and Saliem Petersen will be part of the officials representing South Africa during the tournament.
The provisional squad is expected to report for camp on Saturday, 10 March at the SAFA Technical Centre in Johannesburg before daparting for the holiday destination four days later for the tournament with a total of 14 players.
