6 March 2018 – Clubs from the South African Football Association (SAFA) structures will be hoping to cause upsets as the Nedbank Cup round of 16 kicks off on Friday, 9 March with some mouth-watering fixtures on the cards.

Two clubs from the SAFA ABC Motsepe League remain in contention for the Nedbank Cup which has over the years seen major upsets being caused by clubs from the ABC Motsepe League and SAB League divisions.

Steenberg United travel to Limpopo for a clash against Baroka FC on Saturday, 10 March while EC Bees who gave Kaizer Chiefs a scare in last season’s competition have a tough task against former African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria on Tuesday, 13 March.

No club from the SAFA structures has went beyond the round of 16 in the Nedbank Cup and it will be up to the two clubs from the ABC Motsepe league to make history against very tough Premier Soccer League oppostition.

Tickets to both these encounters are available for as little as R40 and fans following the ABC Motsepe League are urged to support the two clubs as they attempt to make history in the Nedbank Cup.
