16 January 2018 – Head coach of Maccabi FC, Mokete Tsotetsi confirmed that they will be signing former Striker Nkosinathi “Mano” Sibeko when the February window opens of the 1st of February 2018 .
The log leaders bounced back from the defeat to Baberwa by defeating Pretoria Callies 2-0 at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria over the weekend.
Mano helped Maccabi reach the playoffs last season with his predatory instincts in front of goals. His exploits last season earned him a move to big Spending Baberwa FC, where he struggled for game time until he was released .
The Prodigal son returns to Balfour park where he became the darling of the supporters for rattling the back of the net on a regular basis.
“Mano is our son, he is training with us and he will be a great addition to the team. It is going to be a tough season and we need to ensure that we have quality players in the team who can help us achieve our objective ” said Tsotetsi.
