21 December 2017 – The President of Rand Central LFA, Jimmy Bakos said he wants to set an example in implementing SAFA’s Vision 2022 by producing as many coaches as possible.

“If you want proper football development, you have to make sure you have qualified coaches and for the past two years – 2016/2017 – we have really set the bar very high when it comes to producing coaches,” said Bakos.

He said in 2017 alone, his LFA had produced over 100 coaches with D Licenses, 38 in July, 36 in November at ETA College in Randburg and another 38 in the same month in Diepsloot.

Bakos said his next step is to make sure that those coaches who attained their D Licences are upgraded to C Lincense.

“We want to produce as many coaches as possible to make sure SAFA’s Vision 2022 is a rousing success,” he said.
