14 December 2017 – The Burger King-sponsored South African Men’s U20 National Team will face Egypt for a second consecutive time in the semi-finals of the 2017  COSAFA U20 Youth Championships and Head Coach Thabo Senong has made three changes to his starting lineup.

Amajita will be looking for a spot in the final to be played on Saturday, 16 December 2017.

This match will be played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe, Zambia. Kickoff has now been moved to 12h00.

Sanele Tshabalala will make his tournament debut in goals, following the one match suspension of goalkeeper Khulekani Kubheka after he received two yellow cards in the first round of the tournament.

Captain Thendo Mukumela will be replaced by another debutant Kiyaam Bull as he too will not be available for the semi final, on the same bases, while Keanu Cupido will continue with his splendid duties in defense. They will be supported by Kamohelo Sambo and Sibusiso Mabiliso at right and left back.

Thabani Zuke plays holding midfield and will have to destroy any creativity from the opponent while George Matlou and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo will create the attack on the wings.

Luvuyo Mkatshana moves to the right wing while Sifudo Sibiya will start his first match on the left wing, following a superb second half performance in the last match.

Lyle Foster will be the lone striker upfront.
