8 December 2017 – The Burger King sponsored South African Men’s U20 National Team, currently sit top of group B in the 2017 COSAFA U20 Youth Championships after beating Mauritius 2-0 in their opening match.

A brace from forward Lyle Foster in the second half gave the South Africans the much needed confidence win as they aim to reach finals of the youth tournament.

Foster believes that although they managed to win convincingly against the coastal nation, they will need to stay humble and focused going into their remaining two group stage matches.

“Yesterday was a good win for us but it is in the past now. Our focus has now shifted onto our next match and we will be looking to correct our mistakes rather than dwelling on the victory.  This is a tournament and attention is quickly shifted to the next match, so we have to remain humble and look for our next win so we can advance to the next round of the tournament. said Foster.

South Africa will face Mozambique in their second match of group B tomorrow, Saturday, 9 December 2017. This match will be played at Nkana Stadium, Kitwe and kickoff is scheduled for 15h00.
