8 November 2017 – With the year fast coming to an end, the South African Football Association (SAFA) Coaching Education department released its latest statistics on the number of coaches that have been trained and accredited by the Association in 2017.

Since the beginning of this year, SAFA has been on an aggressive effort of increasing the number of qualified coaches across the country, travelling to different corners of the country to train and accredit aspiring and semi-professional coaches with the required qualifications and skills needed to become better football coaches.

Quite recently, the Association held a three-day workshop to review its coaching education content to ensure that it is up to date with international trends and modern methods of coaching.
