2 November 2017 – SAFA President, Dr Danny Jordaan on Wednesday led a SAFA delegation to Parliament to brief the Minister of Sports and Recreation SA, Hon Thulas Nxesi on various developments within the Association.

Dr Jordaan was accompanied to Cape Town by NEC Members Willie Mooka and Gerald Don.

The SAFA President and his team briefed the Minister on resolutions taken at last week’s Extraordinary Constitutional Congress which passed through a number of watershed resolutions.

Among the resolutions passed was the increased number of women within the SAFA Council, the introduction of the Super Cup and the launch of the National Women’s League.

The SAFA President took the Minister through all new developments within the Association.

Minister Nxesi has been one of the biggest supporters of football development in the country and Dr Jordaan said it was imperative to keep him abreast of latest developments.
