25 October 2017 – With just one province to go, South African Breweries (SAB), proud sponsors of the SAB League in partnership with the South African Football Association (SAFA) are almost at the finish line with their nationwide SAB League Technical Kit Handover

SAB and SAFA paid a visit to the Northern Cape on Tuesday, 24 October to hand over technical kit elements which include balls, whistles, bibs, cones etc to assist SAB League clubs prepare better for their matches.

To date, SAB and SAFA have been to all nine provinces with the exception of KwaZulu-Natal which is set to have their technical kit handover ceremony at the end of next month.

In the previous SAB League season, SAB in partnership with SAFA handed over playing kits to all SAB League clubs which was well received by the aspiring professionals.

The SAB League is the largest grassroots football development league in the country, boasting more than 30 000 players participating across the country.

Graduates of the league include Bafana Bafana stars such as Themba Zwane, Andile Jali and Percy Tau who all came up the ranks from the league which has been in existence for the past 17 years.
