24 October 2017 – The South African Football Association (SAFA) is wishing all Matric learners currently busy with their final exams the best of luck.

With a number of young footballers currently involved with the various National Teams, the Association has urged all young footballers to take their education seriously in order to become role models on and off the field.

A number matriculants from the SAFA High Performance Centre academy in Pretoria form part of the U17 and U20 girl’s national teams currently competing for a place in the respective FIFA World Cup qualifiers and SAFA has urged them to shift their focus from football and give full attention to their final year exams.

The Association has a strong stance on education and has always believed that all footballers need to have a solid educational background.
