1 October 2017 – Coach of the South African U20 Women’s national team, Maud Khumalo has made three changes to the starting eleven that thrashed Namibia 5-0 a fortnight ago at the Dobsonville Stadium.

Basetsana take on the Young Gladiators in a 15h00 kick off today at the Sam Nojuma Stadium, in Windhoek Namibia as they continue on their journey to book a place in next year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup set to take place in France between 5 – 24 August.

Mapaseka Mpuru retains her position in goals with Snegugu Zondi slotting in at right back in the place of Lindokuhle Gladile. The central pairing of Bongeka Gamede and Antonio Maponya remain intact with Noxolo Cesane also retaining her position at left back.

Mamelodi Sundowns attacking winger, Modikanalo Mashigo comes on for the injured Lalona Dakweti who scored the opener against Namibia while Ntombifikile Ndlovu slots into the engine room for the rested Katlego Mabuza.

Basetsana playmaker and captain, Linda Motlhalo retains a free role position while the dangerous Gabriella Salgado will be trusted with whipping in her trademark crosses from the left wing.
