15 September 2017 – Captain of the South African women’s U20 national team, Linda Mohlalo has urged her teammates to go for the kill when Basetsana open their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Namibia on Sunday at the Dobsonville Stadium.

“We have a chance of getting a positive result and travelling to Namibia with a vital win. The players understand the importance of a victory and we are aiming for nothing less. It obviously won’t come easy as everyone wants to go to the World Cup but we have been hard at work with the coaches and will be ready for them on Sunday” said Mohlalo.
Basetsana come into the clash with a confidence boosting 5-0 victory over the Swaziland’s senior national team who are currently competing in the COSAFA Cup in Zimbabwe.
