28 July 2017 – The Sasol Women’s League action continues this weekend throughout the country as teams look to increase their impact within their respective regions. Mpumalanga along with the Gauteng province continue with the fight for top spot amongst its ranks as the teams at the top are either separated by a single point or tied.

The Gauteng province will head into round 17 with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns as the only team with an unbeaten record as they travel to Northview High School to take on Croesus Ladies on Saturday afternoon. The Sasol League National Championship finalists from last year JVW will play host to Servol FC at the Bedfordview stadium.

Tembisa based-side Palace Super Falcon will be eager to keep pace with the log leaders as they welcome NWU Vaal Campus at the Esiqongweni sports grounds. University of Johannesburg who have been somewhat inconsistent of late will take on Soweto Fabulous FC, while Pull Together are at home to University of Pretoria FC at the Phillip Stadium.

In Mpumalanga leaders, Nkomanzi Ladies FC should prove too strong for Butterfly Ladies when they meet at Zamani Primary on Sunday, 30 July. On the same day, Likazi Ladies FC who have only manged just one win from their nine matches will welcome Flamingo FC at the Kanyamazane stadium. A few kilometres away TUT Ladies FC will take on TK Stars Ladies at the TUT Mbombela campus.
