25 July 2017 – The South African U17 National Team (Amajimbos) take on Madagascar in their last group B match of the 2017 COSAFA U17 Championships, currently taking place in Mauritius. Amajimbos will be looking for three points; which will take them to the semi finals of the regional showpiece.

This match will be play at Saint Francios Xavier Stadium, Port Louis, Mauritius. Kick off is scheduled for 15h00 local time (SA time 13h00).

Head Coach Molefi Ntseki believes that they have studied the costal nation; and believe that he has a formatable plan for today’s encounter.

“We have watched them play and know their strenghts and weaknesses. We are planning to overload them on the flanks. The players are reponding very positively to the methodology we want and we believe that today’s encounter will produce some attractive football;” said Ntseki.
Goalkeeper Constandin Christodoulou will earn his third international cap in between the poles, while Barry Sithole returns to the line up at left back; following his one match suspension. Sizwe Ntanzi will play at right back in place of Koketso Mathibe; following an impressive showing in the last match.

Amajimbos will be led by Kieron Jacks in central defensive; who will parnter up with Joshua Momodu.

Cade Erickson will play in holding midfield; while Mohammed Shahabodien will play just behind the striking pair.

Azola Tshobeni will earn his second cap at right wing, while James McFarlene remains at left wing.

Olifile Ramatlo will pair up with Junior Nare, who eanred his starts following his brace against Zambia, in the last match.
