23 July 2017 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team (Amajimbos) face Zambia in their second match of the 2017 COSAFA U17 Championships currently taking place in Port Louis, Mauritius. Both teams currently sit top of group A following their convincing wins in the opening match of the regional showpiece.

Amajimbos Head Coach Molefi Ntseki has made three changes ahead of what promises to be a thrilling encounter; as usual when South Africa play Zambia.

Goalkeeper Constandin Christodoula remains in his place between the goals after a great performance in his first international match.

Sizwe Ntanzi makes his debut at left back; as he starts ahead of Omphile Moeletsi. Koketso Mathibe retains his place at right back after a sterling performance in the opening match.

Amajimbos will be led by Kieron Jacks in central defensive; who will partner up with Joshua Momodu, this after Barry Sithole was given his marching orders in the opening match; following two yellow cards.

Cade Erickson and Storm Jonas retain their places in holding midfield, while Mohammed Shahabodien will continue to create the attack in central midfield.

Azola Tshobeni makes his international debut at left wing, while James McFarlene remains at right wing.

Olifile Ramatlo who impressed in the opening match will be looking to opening his goal tally upfront. ‘
