12 July 2017 –  SAFA NEC member and Capricorn Region President Abel Rakoma has described SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan’s visit to Limpopo Province on Tuesday, 11 July 2017 as a resounding success and promised to work towards making Vision 2022 a massive blueprint for South African football going forward.

SAFA President has been going around the country to meet the provincial leadership and take them through his vision and how he wants to see the game grow from strength to strength.

“All of Limpopo’s five Regions were well represented and we all unconditionally promised the President that we will work with him in making sure we achieve great things going forward,” said Rakoma in whose Region the workshop took place.

Capricorn was represented by Thomas Mulaudzi, Sekhukhune and Vhembe by the Regions’ respective Presidents Lazarus Thokoane and George Kubayi while Mopani and Waterberg’s Regional Executive members Donald Rampedi and  Refiloe Khoza represented their regions.

“The presentation by the President on the way forward was well received and as the Limpopo Province we resolved to give our national leadership our undivided support.

“We are geared up to see our game grow and after the President articulated Vision 2022, we are all re-energised and will leave no stone unturned in making sure our game grows in leaps and bounds,” said Rakoma.
