Five teams will contest the 2017 SAB Provincial from Saturday, 8 July and again on 16 July at the Greenhill Stadium, in Randfontein, West Rand.

The teams include Dube Contentinental, who will be representing the SAFA Johannesburg Region, Tembisa Sports Centre, representing Ekurhuleni, Maholosiane FC who will be coming from the SAFA West Rand, Tshwane South College from the SAFA Tshwane and Metro Stars from Safa Sedibeng.

The five teams will be involved in a round robin league format that will see the winner gain promotion to the ABC Motsepe League in the province.

Saturday will see full blown fixtures, where Dube Continental will kick things off with a clash against Maholosiane FC at 10h00. At the same time, Metro Stars will be engaged in a titanic battle with Tembisa Sports Centre.

Dube will then be forced to cool off for a bit before going back into the field against Tshwane South College in a match that will start at 12 noon.

The next matches will start at 15h00, where Maholosiane will entertain Metro Stars, while Tembisa Sports Centre will take on Tshwane South College.

There will be another week to regroup, before the teams meet against on Sunday July 16 at the same venue.

On that day, Tembisa Sports Centre will kick off proceedings with a match against Dube Continental, while at the same time, Tshwane South College will collide with Metro Stars at 9am.

Maholosiane FC and Tembisa Sports Centre will return at 12 noon to do battle, before Dube Continental and Metro Stars lock horns in a 3pm kick off.

Maholosiane FC and Tshwane South College will also be in action at 15h00.

Each team will be allocated three points for a win, while a draw will earn three points, with no points awarded for a defeat.

In a case where two teams will be tied on points, SAFA’s Uniform Rules will apply in determining who walks away with the title and a place in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.
