4 July 2017 – The month of July is set to be one of the busiest time for SAFA’s Coaching Education department as the Association’s drive to produce more and more coaches continue.

Since the beginning of this year, SAFA has been on an extensive roadshow of rolling out its various coaching education programmes that has seen thousands of coaches obtaining their credentials.

The rollout forms part of SAFA’s Vision 2022 of ensuring that coaches at grassroots and developmental level are fully equipped and educated to be able to identify and nurture talent for the benefit of South African football.

Different levels of the SAFA Coaching programme will be rolled out in various provinces such as the Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, North West and the Eastern Cape with more provinces to be reached in due course.

“The month of July will be quite a busy but exciting for SAFA’s coaching education department. We are working tirelessly to ensure that South African football benefits from coaches who are well equipped and educated with modern and scientific methods of coaching” said SAFA’s Head of Coaching Education, Frans Mogashoa.
