Just a week after they witnessed the glorious rise of Uthongathi FC and Super Eagles to the National First Division through the SAFA ABC Motsepe League, three teams in the Northern Cape regions will fight it out for a place in South African third tier football.

Stream A

Real Madrid, coming from the SAFA Francis Baard region, Maruping United, representing the SAFA John Taolo Geatsewe and Rovers United, who come from the SAFA Prixley ka Seme region, will battle it out for the first promotional spot to the Notherns Cape part of the ABC Motsepe League.

The SAB League Regional Play Offs will take place on Sunday, 18 June at the Mziwabantu Stadium in Bricktown.

Real Madrid will be the first team in action at 09h00, taking on Maruping United.

Maruping will have no time to rest as they will have to get back to action at 12:00, taking on hosts Rovers United.

The third match of the day will be at 15:00 between Rovers, who will play their second match on the day against Real Madrid, who would have managed to rest from their early match against Maruping.

The tournament will be a tightly contested one with the three Champions from different regions eyeing a spot in the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League where teams like Mainstay United are campaigning.

Madrid will head into the Play Offs having won their league by 55 points off 26 matches. They won 17 games, drawing just four times and losing five.

Maruping were the best team in John Taolo, winning 23 of their 30 games, losing four matches and sharing spoils on four occasions.

The third team, hosts Rovers United were the most prolific of the three, winning 25 of their 30 matches in their region, losing twice and drawing three times. They finished the league on 102 goals, the most by any team and conceded just 24 goals, managing a total of 78 points.

Stream B

Only two teams will do battle for the second ABC Motsepe League spot in the Northern Cape.

Van Der Stel United and Tornado FC will engage in a two-legged final, with the winner joining the winner of the first stream to the ABC Motsepe League.

The first leg of the matches will take place on the 25th of June, a day after Heritage Day, with the second leg penciled for July 1.
