Staff members of the South African Football Association (SAFA) took time off their busy schedules to participate in the SAFA Staff Wellness Day.

Following recent untimely death of some staff members, the Wellness Day was suggested by SAFA CEO, Dennis Mumble to ensure that staff are fully aware of their health status and can perform their daily duties to the best of their abilities.

The Day included the health assessment such as checking individuals’ blood pressure, weight, sugar level, HIV Aids and any silent diseases which might affect maximum performance of individuals.

The staff also went through a rigorous aerobic exercise and PRINCIPALS OF EMERGENCY CARE, SAFETY AND EMERGENCY SCENE MANAGEMENT.

They were also introduced to an introductory course of First Aid.
