The Sasol League log leaders in the Gauteng, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal regions continued their good form following notable wins over this past weekend.

The Gauteng region produced a top of the table clash between TUT-PTA and Palace Super Falcon at the Mehlareng stadium with the latter winning that match 2-1 and further extending their lead at the top by two points – they have 18 points from six matches. Mamelodi Sundowns thrashed Servol FC 10-0 to stay in second spot on 16 points.

Sasol League National Champions, Bloemfontein Celtic FC, proved their pedigree in the Free State with a well executed 11-0 win over Ayebush FC to remain on top spot with 12 points from four matches. Ace Milan and Tsunami Queens are also on 12 points following wins over Nigol FC and Kolisang Ladies respectively. From the 16 team league, there are five teams (Kolisang, Ayebush, Lovelife, MO2KFA,Mamello) who are yet to register a single point.

Lindelani Ladies have continued their dominance in the KZN region with another convincing 3-0 win over Newcastle Ladies. They are tied on nine points at the summit with Remax Shooting Stars – Lindelani are top of the table due to a superior goal difference. The struggles for Newcastle, Tiger Girls, Galaxy and Nxamalala continue as they are yet to get a point after four matches played.

In Bokone Bophirima (North West), three teams (De’Scorpion, Golden Ladies and Titans) are level on nine points after three rounds following some impressive wins over the weekend.

Ma-Indies have maintained a tight grip on the number one spot in Limpopo after a 2-0 win over Tshandana Young Stars, while Chippas Ladies are bottom of the table.
There are new log leaders in the Western Cape – Santos Ladies – who overcame Portia United 4-3 at home and are on 13 points from their five matches. Cape Town Roses and UWC Ladies are a single point behind with a game in hand.
