With the SAB League season nearing its business end, teams across the various SAFA regions are still battling it out for league honours while some have already cemented their places at the top.

Ditlou FC have maintained their dominance in the Waterberg region – they defeated S. Young Cosmos FC 3-0 to extend their lead at the top to 10 points with two games remaining.

Junior Stars and Mahwelereng, who occupy second and third place respectively are both on 34 points with an advantage of four games in hand.

In the Vhembe region, the race for top spot looks to be going down to the wire as leaders Makovha All Stars are level on 57 points each with second placed Sidou Peace Makers. There are with four games still to be played.

The situation is even more intense in Stream B where Phandulaluvalo FC and Mkulula Young Santos sit level on 68 points and have the same goal difference heading into the final game of the season.

Rokers FC have clinched top spot in stream C with five matches to go in Vhembe as they are 19 points ahead of what was their biggest threat, Ngwenani Young Chief.

Stream D will be decided on the final day of the season where second-placed Tshivahzwaulu is breathing down the neck of Tshakhuma RO United who are three points ahead.

In Stream E, Makitha Oscar Stars currently lead the way on 61 points, just one ahead of Mpheni Home Defenders with three matches to play while in Stream F, Mashamba Benfica United top the table seven points ahead of Wayeni Sea Robbers with five games remaining.

Mikhando FC have all but confirmed top spot in Group G as they lead second-placed Matanda Rockers by 10 points with four more matches to play.

With three games remaining in Stream H, Igwe FC top standings with 43 points, two points ahead of Musina United and Anel Real Viking who are second and third respectively.
