Three teams are neck and neck in the Western Cape after three rounds of fixtures. Cape Town Roses, UWC Ladies and Ikamva FC are all on nine points each after their wins – they scored 27 goals between them just this weekend.

Southern Star, Defence FC and Portia United are leaking goals and are yet to register a single point in that region.

Round two of the Sasol League in the Free State Province saw defending champions Bloemfontein Celtic continue with their fine form – they walloped Grassland Ladies 10-1 to stay top of the table, while Nigol FC also produced a memorable performance as they moved to second spot on the standings with a convincing 7-3 win over Kolisang Ladies.

TUT-PTA were able to move up to the top of the log with 15 points from five matches in the Gauteng province following an impressive 7-1 win over the University of Johannesburg. The struggle continues for NWU Vaal Campus as they slumped to their fifth defeat of the season, with only one goal from five matches.

In the Limpopo province Ma-Indies failed to extend the lead at the top after a 1-all draw at home to Kanatla Ladies. Moria Sweepers suffered their first defeat of the season with a 3-1 loss to Shayandima Morning Stars. A total of six teams share second spot – level on six points.

Lindelani Ladies continued with their impressive start to the season in KwaZulu Natal as they brushed aside Nxamalala Ladies 9-1 to occupy the top spot on six points. Popular KZN outfit, Durban Ladies, registered their first win of the season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Newcastle Ladies.

There were wins for Golden Ladies and De’ Scorpion in the North West. Both are tied on six points each following impressive wins over Florentina FC (11-1) and Icon Ladies (9-0).
