The final segment of the SAFA D Licence course will be held at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria after the road-show touched various parts of the country.

The Association has left no stone unturned in a bid to achieve one of the biggest components of Vision 2022 mandates of increasing the number of coaches at amateur level. This in turn will see more talent being identified and nurtured from a very young age across SAFA’s development leagues.

Since the beginning of March, the five-day coaching programme has given more than 150 aspiring coaches a head start in their coaching careers.

“This has been quite a fruitful exercise that has seen SAFA successfully implementing its core mandate of football development.

“The future of South African football is closely tied with informed and educated coaches and talent identifiers. Such courses are critical for the growth of South African football,” says SAFA’s Coaching Officer, Christina Phafane.
