Super Eagles, Bubchu United and Harmony FC continue to battle it out for top spot in the Free State ABC Motsepe Leageu, while the bottom three all failed to win in week 27.

Eagles maintained top spot in the Free State stream, after they recorded a 2-1 win over Mangaung Unite at the Show Ground on Saturday, 8 April.

The leaders remain four points clear of second place Bubchu United, who claimed a slim 1-0 win over FC Hunters at the Clive Solomons Stadium on the same day.

Harmony FC are still mathematically in with a shout of gunning for the title, after they defeated bottom club, Dinonyana FC 2-1 and sit five points behind Eagles.

Moving to the relegation battle, Lijabatho’s survival hopes suffered a set back when they fell to a 2-1 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic at the Westdene Stadium on Saturday.

Lijabatho remain in 15th spot, two points behind Dla 2 FC, who were held to a 2-2 by Central University on Saturday afternoon.
