With just a couple of weeks remaining in the Northern Cape ABC Mostepe League, Young Stars are closing in on the stream B title, while Mainstay United are on the brink of securing top spot in stream A.

Young Stars sit in top spot in stream B after 12 games played and currently sit three points ahead of the nearest rivals.

Stars will look to collect another three points when they host William Prescod A. FC at Warrenton High on Saturday, 8 April.

Colville United, meanwhile, sit in second spot, three points behind the leaders and will have tough task this weekend when they host relegation-threatened Juventus.

Third place Kuruman Kicks still have an outside chance of clinching top spot in the stream as they sit five points behind the leaders. Although, they will need Young Stars to lose their next two matches.

Moving to the foot of the table, Juventus look destined to go down this season as they only managed to collect six points from 12 games and currently sit seven points behind sixth place Young Pirates.

Olifantshoek Young Stars FC, who occupy eighth spot, will host NC Liverpool at Ditloung Stadium as they look to close the three-point gap between themselves and Pirates, who travel to Kuruman Kicks FC.

In Stream A, Mainstay United are certain to claim top spot as they sit seven points ahead of second place Rasta Fa Eagles, who have a game in hand.

Mainstay will host Kakamas Juventus at the Robert Gunda Stadium this weekend, while Rasta Fa Eagles welcome NE Celtics to the Newtown Stadium.

NE Celtics have already been condemned to relegation to the SAB League as they remain rooted to the bottom with four points after 12 games.
