Super Eagles moved one step closer to securing the Free State ABC Motsepe League title, while the relegation contenders failed to pick up wins.

Eagles continue to lead the way after 22 matches, as they maintained their five-point lead over Bubchu United by securing a slim a 1-0 win over Dikwena United on Saturday afternoon.

Second place Bubchu, meanwhile, maintained their title charge after defeating Dinonyana in a six-goal thriller, running out 4-2 winners on Saturday.

Mangaung Unite kept their title hopes alive with a 3-1 win over Tshiame All Stars FC. Manguang leapfrogged Harmony into third spot, after the latter were held to a 0-0 draw Bloemfontein Young Tigers.

There was hardly any movement at the bottom of the table, althouh Dla 2 FC moved a point above Dinonyana, following their 1-1 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic.
