Mainstay United have maintained their dominance in the Northern Cape stream A conference, despite being held to a 1-1 draw by third place Rasta Fa Eagles. United boast 21 points and sit seven points ahead of the chasing pack.

Morester Jeug took advantage of Eagles dropping points at home, as they recorded a 2-1 win over Hungry Lions FC, who have to look over their shoulder in sixth spot.

Kakamas Juventus boosted their hopes of survival in stream A, as they defeated bottom place NE Celtics 3-2 to move four points clear off the foot of the table.

Moving to Stream B, the race for the title continues to heat up as Kuruman Kicks cemented top spot with 18 points after registering a 2-0 win over William Prescod A. FC.

Young Stars and Colville United sit in second and third respectively but are level on 17 points after their impressive wins over the weekend.

Young Pirates missed the chance to steer well clear of bottom club, Juventus FC after they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Colville.

However, Olifantshoek Young Stars FC were the big movers in stream B after their 4-2 win over Juventus saw them leapfrog Pirates into sixth spot.
