South Africa Senior National Team, Bafana Bafana have remained rooted on number 60 on the FIFA Coca-Cola World Rankings and 11th on the African continent.
In the latest FIFA Rankings released, Senegal remains the highest ranked side on the continent and 33 in the world followed by fellow West African giants Cote d’Ivoire who are ranked number 2 in Africa and 34 in the world.
North African powerhouses Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria complete the top five slots on the African continent.
Argentina are the number one ranked side in the world followed by neighbours and Olympics champions Brazil who sit on number two.
Germany, Chile and Belgium complete the top five slots in the world rankings.
A lot of changes are expected in the coming months in Africa as a result of the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon.
