SAFA has sent condolences to former SAFA NEC member Zola Dunywa whose mother passed away on Monday, 12 December 2016.
Mr Dunywa together with Solly Pasha and Donald Norman were honoured at the 26th SAFA Annual Congress at the Emperors Palace in the East Rand on Saturday, 10 December 2016 for their outstanding service to the game.
“We are gutted at the news of Mr Dunywa losing his beloved mother,” said SAFA President, Dr Danny Jordaan.
“We honoured him this past Saturday and two days later he lost his mother. But no one has control over the Almighty’s wishes. May the soul of his mother rest in peace,” added Dr Jordaan.
Mr Dunywa who is also former Bafana Bafana team manager said his 91-year old mother, Tantaswa Timnath Bambalaza passed away on Monday in Butterworth near East London and funeral arrangements are being finalised.
