The South African Football Association (SAFA) recently held a SAFA-CAF B License coaching course.

There were 27 participants attending the course, including the likes of former Mamelodi Sundowns midfield maestro, Surprise Moriri, and Fani Mthethwa, who used to play for the likes of Free State Stars, Katlehong City and Washington DC College.

The first module/phase was conducted in September 2016 (16-25), while the second held from 4 – 13 November in Eersterust, Pretoria with SAFA Tshwane as the host.

CAF instructor, Steve Coetzee of South Africa, was appointed by CAF to assess the participants.
