Tinyani made his first Premier Soccer League (PSL) appearance in the 2003/2004 season where he officiated the clash between Silver Stars and Amazulu and has served in the top flight football for the past 12 years.

According to Tinyani, his most memorable game to date was Soweto Derby featuring Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in theTelkom Knockout in 2012.
