The Burger King-sponsored South African u20 men’s National Team (Amajita) won 1-0 against the Orlando Pirates Development team in a practise match on Friday afternoon and 6-0 against the Bidvest MDC team on Saturday morning.

Amajita are in a training camp ahead of the U20 COSAFA Cup which will take place in Rustenburg, North West from 7 – 16 December 2016.

The u20 Head Coach Thabo Senong believes the week has been very productive for the team.

“We have had a very productive week and I believe we have identified a few players from this pool that we want to possibly bring into the team.

We have played three matches, so far this week and we believe that the players understand what we want from them,” said Senong.

“The session against the Bidvest Wits MDC was a great exercise, as we proved that we have the ability of scoring goals.”

Amajita are scheduled to play an international friendly against Kenya in late November.
