Amajita coach Thabo Senong is not too worried about being drawn in what looks like a tough Group B of the U20 AFCON championships scheduled for Zambia from 26 February to 12 March 2017.

Group B is made up of South Africa, Senegal, Cameroon and Sudan while Group A consists of hosts Zambia, Egypt, Mali and Guinea.

The Top 4 teams will qualify for the FIFA World Cup scheduled for South Korea later next year.

Senong said while Group B was tough, he said he was relishing the challenge.

“The Group is very tough but that was always to be expected as these are the best 8 teams on the continent.

I am glad that we avoided the hosts (Zambia) and the current champions Mali. We are going to do complete research and analysis on our opponents Senegal, Cameroon and Sudan. We have to know everything about them.

We have a good team and our preparations have already started. Our main aim is to go through the next round which are the semis which will give us a ticket to the FIFA World Cup,” said Senong.
