“He underwent blood tests this morning (Saturday, 22 October 2016), for doctors to determine his progress. He took a shower and had a short walk.
The doctors have confirmed that he will be discharged either Sunday or Monday and that is a huge relief for the entire family. This is an incredible story and once again I would like to thank all South Africans for their prayers; this has been like a miracle,” said Mark Tovey.
The former Bafana Bafana captain suffered a heart attack last Sunday afternoon while training and was rushed to hospital where he was placed into an intensive care unit.
