The FIFA Administrators course came to an end on Wednesday, 19 October 2016 with participants describing the seminar as educational and a platform to share ideas.

Day 3 mostly focused on football business and how to sell your brand in which the key topics of the day evolved around communication and marketing concepts.

SAFA Siyanda President, Mrs Emma Hendricks, who is the first South African female regional president, was overwhelmed by the lessons learnt over the three-day seminar.

“I am grateful to FIFA and SAFA for this opportunity. I was voted in as president at the 2016 congress and have encountered some challenges since then but this course has helped me find myself in a big way,” said Hendricks.

She says she has learnt so much in the past three days and some topics had really motivated her. She added the course had managed ‘to build my confidence’.

FIFA in conjunction with the South African Football Association (SAFA) will hold another course of this magnitude in 2017, which will centre more on women administrators
