Women’s Month will end with a bang with the hosting of an elite FIFA Coaching course for top SAFA qualified women coaches from the 28 August – 2 September 2016.

This will be the second course of its kind to have ever been held in SA.

The course will take place at the SAFA technical centre in Johannesburg. 30 top women coaches will participate from all over SA (attach list). Many participants are former Banyana players and National coaches.

Legendary Italian player and coach Carolina Morace will conduct the course for FIFA.

SAFA Assistant Technical Director Fran Hilton-Smith said that this group would form the “think tank ” for women’s football in SA going forward and would meet on a regular basis to discuss issues relevant to women’s football i.e. talent selection, development, coach development and empowerment, youth development in schools and LFA’s etc.
