South Africa National u19 Team walloped TP Mazembe of DR Congo 6-0 in a one-sided affair at the ongoing Durban u19 International Tournament on Sunday afternoon to take a firm grip in Group B in a match played at Sugar Ray Xulu in Durban.

On fire striker Khanyisa Mayo fired home a scintillating hat-trick.

On Friday, the David Notoane-coached side beat Glasgow Rangers 3-2 and will play Fluminense in their last group game on Tuesday.

Group B is made up of SA National u19, TP Mazembe, Fluminense and Glasgow Rangers while Group A comprises Golden Arrows, Sporting Lisbon, KZN Academy X1 and Arsenal FC.

South Africa won the bronze medal at the annual tournament last year and Notoane said the aim is to go one up this season and even try to win the event.
