The South African u17 Women’s National Team, Bantwana, has a clean bill of health ahead of their crucial 2016 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier.

The clash between Bantwana and the Flamingos of Nigeria is scheduled for Saturday, 12 March 2016 at the Abuja National Stadium in Nigeria.

Kick off is at 16h00 (17h00 SA Time).

“We are happy that all the players are available for selection for this all important clash on Saturday afternoon. We have emphasized the need to work as a team and to have the attitude of soldiers on a mission, from the first to the final whistle,” said SA u17 acting head coach Maude Khumalo.

“We have a good strategy going into the match and if our girls can keep their concentration levels high and be alert during critical phases, we will achieve our goals. The main aim is to win here so as to make our job easier in the second leg at home. Any other result will put us on the back foot, which will make us play under pressure.”

The return leg will be played at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa on Saturday, 26 March 2016.

Kickoff is at 14h00 and entry is free.

NB: The u17 FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place in Jordan from 30 September to 21 October 2016.
